I just have a question about the colonialist aspect of the 11
ship song. I havent contributed here yet, and i must be honest that some
people i know dont consider me the most rational.. though perhaps i look
at things from a different persepective point.

Assuming that the world has a continued growth, including all
populations , where exactly do we all belong. In some peoples eyes the
earth planet we exist upon belongs to no one, though there is the anglo
saxon ideology that they must enforce entitlement. It would appear to me
that people are reading this issue (and song) from the Anglo saxon POV.
Thus making the issue play on that same field where it is impossible to
score a point save for the post game wrap up.

Where are humans supposed to call 'home'. Perhaps we are all
renters to the enormously aged biospherical land we subsist upon. That
is not to say we should forget the hooliganisms of our own kind, but when
it comes right down to it.. we all arise from the earth and descend back
into it. The earth is all of us. As far as i can see, claiming
oppression from today back thousands of years doesnt coerce the issue
into progress, it keeps it stalled.. which perhaps is what those economic
powers that be want.

As a topic, racism is emotional, which to most equals irrationality.
I read in the previous post assumptions about an indigenous peoples in
Australia. One cannot make assumptions and then expect their reality to
check out. The only person one can speak for is ones self and his or her
experiences. The social sphere is changing, and this discourse is vital
for exposing how we see each other. There is no ultimate scoreboard that
may denote a win or loss for anyone, although media of the now attempt to
tell us it is so. Newspapers basically enforce hurtful standards and
expectations of how we as humans must and should act. IMHO it would be
very nice to see the anarchical freedom of self-publication express the
mass of individual experiences on the WWW. This will lead to a better
understanding, and respect for the ultimate in authority to humankind..
The Planet of Earth and its natural forces, regardless of how much
technology can mimic and perhaps even surpass certain specialized r&d
progressions, gave us life.. and its in the living we score, and together
we can win.

Of course, while people subscribe to the current societies we do.. it may
be difficult and a long struggle.

11 ships of people cast out of their social structure and finding
themselves on a foreign soil that really isnt that foriegn, save for
dimension travelling from one alternate reality to another.

In short i dont think you can blame humans for reacting to their
environment in the way they did. But now we have less and less excuse
for treating people with contempt and disrespect. In my life and
experience.. I live inRichmond, outside of Vancouver BC Canada.. the
population here is about 80% Chinese.. and as a white Canadian Male.. I
could either feel like crap because I'm living on Native soil.. or I can
despise the mass onrush of wealthy chinese people into the community
while i cannot still find a decent job after my formal education.

I consider it life.. and hopefully what i learn and discover will make
it that much easier for everyone in my multicultural midst in the future
to understand and appreciate each othre for their individuality and the
past that accompanies their ways of self-expression.

Ok guys you can rip the shit out of this now.
