"Clinton Says NATO Had To Attack

WASHINGTON (AP) -- NATO air raids on Yugoslavia will keep up for hours, or
perhaps even for days, to disable a strong Serb air defense network, according
to U.S. military officials speaking on condition of anonymity. In a national
TV address six hours after airstrikes began, President Clinton tonight
asserted ``a moral imperative'' to end Serb repression of Albanians in Kosovo.
"

There is a moral imperative to end repression of people living in Kosovo, and
everywhere.
But if you abdicate your freedom and responsiblity to the state, any state,
don't be surprised when those running the state deal with you and yours as
though you were some sort of insect.
Clinton wouldn't be President wouldn't be President if he actually had a moral
bone in his body. The only imperatives he seems to follow are those of the
people who dumped a lot of money into his election campaign. As near as I can
tell those folks want a balkanized world so it is easy to move money and
resources around while most people in the world are sweated at work, or used
as cannon fodder. Clinton, by the way, is clearly a person with low impulse
control.

"Yugoslavia Declares State of War

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia (AP) -- Yugoslavia declared a state of war because of
NATO airstrikes on Serb forces and increased the mobilization of troops. Lt.
Gen. Nebojsa Pavkovic, commander of Yugoslav troops in Kosovo, said 40 targets
were hit in NATO's first attacks, but he claimed damage was minimal. "

Damage was minimal. How many people died thanks to the ineptitude of
government negotiators, and twisted goals of a few people running the world?

"Russia, China Decry NATO

UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- Russia and China criticized the United States and its
allies for the bombing of Yugoslavia, highlighting deep divisions within the
U.N. Security Council over Kosovo. Russia's U.N. Ambassador Sergey Lavrov, who
requested an emergency meeting of the council, accused NATO of violating
international law and demanded an immediate cessation of its ``illegal
military action.'' In Moscow, President Boris Yeltsin pulled Russia out of its
partnership with NATO to protest the airstrikes."

Rulers in China and Russia find it easy to take sides, in this case with the
sovereign Yugoslavian state, because they don't want NATO or anyone else
messing with them when they go about annexing large pieces of real estate
(Hong Kong, Taiwan, various sections of the former USSR). They don't like NATO
and the US government redefining the rules of the game.

OK, so which team do you want to support with a lot of flag waving? Just
remember the stadium all these sporty gangsters are playing in is the world.
Gangsters are just what they all are.

Looking for other ways,
