Thanks Aaron and Lisa for your wonderful posts. It seems pretty obvious from
all the useful information posted, that spirulina is not an adequate source
for B-12.
The question is, does taking spirulina interfere with B-12 absorption from
animal sources? To be more specific, do the B-12 analogues occupy the same
receptors in the body and hence reduce the amount of useful B-12 that can be
absorbed? (sort of the way trans fatty acids take the place of healthy cis
fatty acids and then don't do the same job).
