>Hi. My name is Liane and I just joined this email list. I live in
>Chatham Ontario Canada.
Liane, (& ED) welcome aboard. This makes you the first Canadian
member(s) we have had.
>About 3 weeks ago after having read a couple books on raw foods my
>husband Ed and I decided to try it. Well, I started about 3 weeks ago,
>while my husband started 1 week ago. We are on an 85% raw, 15% cooked
>diet. We are planning to buy a $400 juicer because we want to make
>fresh vegetable juice to drink.
The champion is a good, versatile kitchen appliance. As for dark greens
I find juicing them with carrots & steaming them to be the best way to
go. For recipes go to http://www.rawtimes.com/recipes.html
>What is NFL ?
"Natures First Law" is the name of a controversial book that came out
last year that promotes a vegan, fruit-based monodiet put out by three
young men in their twenties who reside in San Diego, CA. Their style is
very abrasive & intolerant which caused them to be suspended from this
list. (until they are willing to recognize the list guidelines)
RAF = Raw Animal Foods
CAF = Cooked animal foods
Good luck with your new diet.
Best, Peter
