<< Does anyone know if milk is used in curing or processing ham, even when
it might not be listed on the label? I realize it might show up in the
lunch meat style slices, but what I'm wondering about is a half ham, to be
 cooked and sliced. >>
My understanding is that water packed ham's can contain milk without being on
the label. I would call the company and ask them b4 eating them. I had
problem with a turkey, when I called company they said it could contain milk,
even though it wasn't on the label
