Gluten-free communion wafers can be purchased through Meyer Vogelpohl, 717 Race
Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202-4304, phone # 1-800-543-0264. There are 250
wafers in a box and the cost is $47.50 plus $6.25 for shipping.

This company does not make them. Nancy Graves, from Meyer Vogelpohl, sent me a
fax that she received from the company that ships the gluten free wafers to
them.

This is what the fax stated: "This gluten free wafer is 1 1/8" in diameter.
The ingredients include; water, potato flour, soya flour, methylcellulose,
calcium carbonate, dried ferrous, sulphate, niacin and thiamin. Please note:
In the Roman Catholic Church, totally gluten free wafers are not considered
valid matter for the celebration of the Eucharist. The person who is receiving,
can elect to receive under one species (which is the Precious Blood) in lieu of
taking the wafer."
