Answer :
Yes, both on mice and humans. It's the suppression of the neurotoxic
cooked foods (especially whole grains, bread, flour... and all
derivatives) that seems to give the TNR reduction and positive effects
on the nervous system. The cages of mice on a raw diet all had a similar
level nervous tremor at rest (TNR) (no statistically significant
variations) wether they included RAF or not : one group was on a varied
raw instinctive diet (including some meat and fish), others were on
"monodiets" such as only walnuts, or only almonds, or only raw organic
cereals. All had the same TNR. However, the ones on monodiets were quite
thinner (lower weight) after a month or two of the diet. Metabolism in
mice is much faster than in humans due to a little higher body
temperature (two months for a mice represents something like a year for
a human). These apparently healthy and able-to-reproduce (they gave
babies) "monodiet" mice seem to reflect fairly well what is observed in
humans : monodiets or fruitarian diets do give some positive results
(including lower stress) especially in the short term, but raw vegans
usually aren't overweight...

Yes I have compared. COOKED FOOD VEGETARIANS are usually even more
nervous (higher TNR) than standard cooked food eaters. However, I think
this has nothing to do with the presence or not of animal foods.
Whole-grain-cooked-bread is more tremorogenic (means "that induces
tremor") than meat cooked or not. It's funny that many vegetarians turn
away from meat because they think it damages their nervous system, and
compensate their lack of protein by turning to whole-grain-bread, which
makes them even more nervous than initially.

The most stressed years in my life were in the early 80's when I was a
cooked vegan thinking I was right to eat two pounds of whole-grain-bread
a day. The STRESSOMETER now helps make precise measurements to check
these points. For my rational mind, there's nothing like measuring an
effect and good old solid data to understand what's happening even
though when it comes to choosing the foods, instinct takes over.

Both subjective experience of french RAF and objective data from the
STRESSOMETER show that it seems to be more the presence of cooked foods
(especially whole cereals) that introduce abnormal neuroactive molecules
giving birth to abnormal nervosity (measurable by increase in TNR),
rather than raw foods having a beneficial effect on the nervous system.

Mmhh, could be, especiallly with eating insects and spiders which in my
experience are even stronger mind-openers than eating raw meat. Wait and
see ! You're already fantastic Peter, but maybe you'll turn into an even
better human being with a few pieces of meat and a few crickets more !
