Dunno. I have never tried live scallops. I had a peroid when I enjoyed them very
much (especially the orange part), but I think it's over.

I have never like mussels, live or cooked. But I prefer "muscle".

I suppose everyone has different tastes. I find oysters edible, but don't like
them much. Clams are among my favorite. For a while, I also ate whelk (I needed
a dictionary here), but it's a lot of work to crack them. And of course:
shrimps, crabs, lobsters (you shouldn't have any trouble finding affordable ones
at Montreal!)

Best wishes,

Jean-Louis
