I had all 19 of my mercury fillings removed a couple years ago at the
University of Michigan Dental School by graduate student dentists, most
of whom had already had a few years of dental experience and were coming
back to school to learn advanced techniques. They are well-supervised
and I felt as though they did a pretty good job for 1/3 to 1/2 of what a
private dentist would charge. It cost me nevertheless about $3500 which
came out of my own pocket, but it was about the best $3500 I ever spent.
I recommend it to everyone who's got mercury in his head.
