>Zephyr: How did you eat before becoming an instinctive raw eater?
>From ages 0 to 19 I ate the SAD, with very little raw fruits or
vegetables, plenty of fast food and pizza. At 19 I became a vegetarian,
but I was eating out of the university cafeteria. I was a pasta
vegetarian. At age 21 I moved to Eugene, Oregon and got a job picking
(a.k.a. eating) raspberries; I also started to eat more organic food,
especially almond butter and honey on organic bread sandwiches and
tomato, sprout, and lettuce sandwiches. Then in July I read Severen
Schaeffer's book, I went 100% instincto, and was blessed by Eugene's
alley's of semi-wild plums, blackberries, pears, apples, cherries, and
more, and working on an organic farm to forage for around 90% of my food
for that whole summer.
It took me until November 1991 to stop eating processed foods and I've
eaten %100 "instincto" except during the trichinosis where I was drinking
organic juice and smoothies with medication and pills.
That probably answers your question,
Zephyr
