I had a severe anaplylactic reaction to contrast medium when I was a teenager
and was told to avoid iodine. I wanted to add to the iodine summary by noting
that chocolate also has iodine, at least according to the doctor I had then. (If
someone knows that this is not true, let me know!) Finding the hidden iodine/
shellfish can also be quite a challenge--good luck!
