Earthlands, Petersham MA
7th Annual Winter Deep Ecology Retreat
January 17-19, 1997

A Soul-Nourishing gathering for Earth-lovers and Eco-activists, co-created by
the participants. We will come together to nuture, inspire, and honor each
other and MOTHER EARTH through ritual and celebration, sharing circles, songs
and chants, drumming, dancing, breathing, laughing, crying and more...

For this weekend we will co-create a SACRED AND LOVING COMMUNITY to share our
stories and explore our issues. We will address our pain, desires, needs,
frustrations, hopes and dreams in living fully on Earth. We'll use
breathwork, deep sharing circles, ritual, yoga, remembering, movement, song
and more, to _celebrate_ our relationships with ourselves, one another, our
society and our mother/father Earth. We'll explore specific ways to support
ourselves and each other, and to integrate this experience into our lives in
the world. There will by plenty of opportunity to interact with the natural
community and explore the land.

During this weekend we will live as a community, sharing in the preparation
and cleanup of our meals. All food served at Earthlands contains NO animal
products (non-dairy vegetarian) and is primarily organic and bioregional. It
will take place at the Lodge at Earthlands, an off-the-grid building with
dorm-style accommodations, heated by wood stoves, in the forest of the Swift
River Valley. Earthlands is located in Petersham, MA near the northeast
corner of the Quabbin Reservoir

The retreat begins with dinner at 7pm on Friday, January 17th and ends by 3pm
on Monday, January 20th.

Fees are based on income and date of registration.

All Proceeds go to the Earthlands Permaculture Design Project.

[On a personal note; I've had the great pleasure of enjoying a variety of
programs at Earthlands. From a "Council of All Beings" to "Earthstory" and
each one/everyone has been wonderful. There is a special warmth and
groundedness to the community. I feel strongly about their message and the
earthly integrity shared by all. Paul Aime [log in to unmask]]
