Well, I'll take a stab at trying to explain what I think M2M is. Ward
and other people who've been participating in it will probably have a
deeper explanation. To me, it seems like an interactive forum (not
unlike this list) in the form of printed reading material. People who
would like to participate pay for production cost whereas those who only
want to read pay more. This encourages more participation. Each
publication has a theme which doesn't have to be adhered to. Also, each
participant has to submit at least two but not more than 8 pages.
>From the sample issue I saw, people wrote their own thoughts and ideas
and they also responded to what others said in the previous issue. It's
kind of like letter-wrinting in a way, so I can imagine that those who
have been with NH M2M since the beginning feel very close to the other
participants. It's a great way to exchange, debate, think about ideas
regarding a topic. The sample issue I got was jam-packed with writing
from about 37 people-the issue was about 180 pages. This may be a
superficial response, but perhaps now you have more of an idea as to
what it's all about.
It's the kind of publication you WOULDN'T want to throw out, unlike so
many magazines we are inundated with.
