Tom:
The reader comment was someone else, who posted a reply on the old veg-raw.
The above was edited/rewritten to make it much shorter than the original
material. Basically, my point is that oils do go rancid, but most oils are
shelf-stable for months. Thus most reasonably fresh oils are not rancid.
A separate note - the system here is scheduled to be down most of today,
Wednesday 26 March. So, I probably won't be able to read/post until tomorrow.
