Did you try the fish before or after you had begun taking supplements? I
have read that the body cannot metabolize more than 8 mcg of B12/day,
so if you already take supplements, fish won't be really useful.

In addition, do you really think you need B12? I mean, do you feel
your health is not good enough? Maybe fish contains substances that
will harm your body, and that that harm will overweigh the benefits of
B12 (perhaps your needs are not _so_ urgent?).

All fishes don't taste the same: in my case, I find fatty fish much tastier.

Hopefully, the body's needs can be fulfilled by other fruits... It
will just take longer. IMHO, no food is _absolutely_ necessary-except
maybe under pathological circumstances.
