Hi Dean!

I wish there was a Garden Taste in Costa Mesa but don't think there is.  I
have talked with the G.T. owner (nice lady) several times about opening one
in Orange County but she only asked if I'd like to manage it!  (no).  I'm
glad to be able to have a  place even with only a few raw dishes.  I guess to
stay in business they have to offer cooked.

The Raw Restaurant in S.F. said they were looking at a location on Wilshire
in L.A.  and that this was in the works at present.  Fortunately, when we
were there they played soft new age type music, I definitely would not have
enjoyed loud techno music (what is that anyway??).  The sea palm sounded way
too challenging so we passed and now I'm glad after reading your comments.
 Yep, there dishes can be very exotic - unusual combinations of things but as
I don't take the time to be a very creative "cook" (for example, tonight's
dinner will be some chunks of raw veggies and avo, pretty exciting,what?), it
was a treat to have  something truly different.
