Pictorial Tour of Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center

Permaculture swales and berms, and a 1930s-era water diversion channel,
direct runoff from summer thunderstorms to Tree of Life pond.

Tree of Life garden intern Jack Curran uses a tamping bar to make ahole
in compost for a bio-dynamic preparation. Lilli Patten supervises.  Straw
bales surrounding the compost are used to preserve moisture in the dry
Arizona climate.

Tree of Life intern Mark Garvin,  from South Africa, tosses strawberry
leaves onto a compost pile.

Tree of Life meditation temple utilizes solar panels for heating and
lighting.

Woody Wodraska, perhaps, spends too much time at the computer:
corresponding with bio-dynamic growers worldwide, drawing greenhouse
designs, keeping an inventory of several hundred heirloom seed varieties,
writing articles, and searching the Internet for articles of interest to
interns.

Tree of Life garden interns live in tents in an arroyo.

Our straw bale building houses a vegan kitchen, dining room, and
treatment room.
