     I was diagnosed with Dermatitis Herpetiformis (sp?) about 11 years ago
     and have been gluten-free ever since. Because I was diagnosed so long
     ago, most of my research was done then...until now with this terrific
     group.
 
     My question is:  what is the connection between celiac and DH? My
     step-mother was recently tested for celiac and in some information she
     received from her doctor, it said that all DH patients have - even if
     its only to a minor extent - some form of celiac. Is this true? I
     tested negative for celiac when I went through some GI problems a few
     years ago, but I'm curious.
