Tom Billings was right about fat being trace in fruit & veg.

Here is that table- thanks Laurie-
-------------------------------------
Comparing other 'food' types to human milk, and normalizing the
values in human milk to 1.0 for comparison yields:

H2O CAL PRO FAT CHO Calcium

 Human milk 1 1 1 1 1 1
 cow milk 1 .8 3.2 .88 .5 3.6
 meats .6 3.9 25 5. .1 0.08
 cheese 1 4.2 21 7.5 .2 3.8
 nuts .06 7.8 16 13.5 2.1 0.8
 grains .4 2.6 1.5 2.5 4.5 0.2
 beans .75 2.3 21 2. .3 0.7
 vegetables 1 .6 2.2 .1 1 1.0
 fruit 1 .7 .6 .1 1.5 0.33

So it is calories that are similar, not fat as I said. A few points..

1. fat is lower for fruit & veg- while it is logical that the human body
can utilise nutrients at lower than the levels in milk, the reverse will
not similarly hold true, it's in the chemistry. (likewise protein)

2. calories are what fat and carbos are used for. Babies get more cals
from fat because they are not yet big enough to eat the cals as carbos.
Fat contains over doube the amount of calories/gram. Makes sense for
milk to contain more of this. Fat remains slower to digest, fine for one
kept in a crib all day, what else better to do?
