I recently purchased a package of potato latkes at the supermarket. I had
read the ingredients and they appeared to be gluten-free. When I got home,
I called the manufacturer's 800# re the GF status. The company is Empire
Kosher Poultry. They were wonderful about answering my question - and
assuring me that the latkes were, indeed, gluten-free. They also sent me a
list of all their other products, very carefully highlighting which were
totally gluten free and which were gluten free but produced ih a gluten
environment. Their product line is mostly poultry, but they also make a
deli line and, ofcourse, potato latkes. Here's their 800# and e-mail
address if you should have any questions or want a copy of their list.
