My new roommate has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
He needs to eat a lot of fresh vegetables through the winter, so I brought
up the idea of making our own sprouts. Brad is concerned that sprouts go
moldy too quickly. They are contraindicated in most chronic fatigue diets.
I am also very sensitive to yeasts and molds, so I am concerned about this.
I hope that if we sprout *properly*, we can make healthy sprouts that won't
cause us problems. I am really eager to increase the amount of raw food
in my diet in the winter.
A related question: what else can we grow indoors in winter?
If anyone has any suggestions about indoor crops and safe sprouts, I'd
love to hear from you!
