You must be in a warmer area than I. We still have 15 in of snow on the
ground. My primary foods on a long ride (50-100 miles) is fruit and Health
Valley Rice Bars. I also use Exceed energy drink. I package additional
Exceed powder in 35 mm film capsules so when I refill my water bottles I can
renew my energy. I carry on large bottle water and one with Exceed. I find
plums very good to carry with me and usually get bananas at the sag stop if
they have it. This routine been satisfactory for Centuries.
