Hi, Balsamic is made from grapes with high sugar content, most noablt the
Trebbiano grape.(my source is *Herbal Vinegar* by Maggie Oster) It
recieves it's color from cooking or caramelized sugar is added with
flavorings. Again, essentially gf, but you need to check with manufactor.
