Well, it will mess up their instincts and confuse the "stop" signals at a
minimum.  If I were a dad, I wouldn't want to feed it to my kids.  Of
course, whether the mistake is major or minor depends on the nature of
the food and the nature of the cooking applied to it.  There's a big
difference between lightly steamed veggies and barbequed spare ribs.
