Barbara Jean,

I saw your recent message. I was diagnosed celiac this past March. My
doctor says my endomysial levels are still fairly high and I must be
getting some gluten on a regular basis, but even after going over my
diet with the dietitian in the celiac unit, we were unable to come up
with a source. Two weeks previous my doctor told me to quit taking
Tylenol Extra Strength as it contains gluten.

I note you state rice crackers or rice cereal may contain glutinous
products. I am eating KA-ME brand rice crackers and there is no
glutinous ingredients listed on the label; however, they are made in
Japan. The dietitian didn't think this was a problem. Any comment?
Also, I eat Nabisco Cream of Rice and Lundberg Farms rice cakes. See
any problem?

I was drinking some Ocean Spray Ruby Red grapefruit juice in the
individual cans which I suspect may contain gluten. I have stopped
that. I'm also IgA deficient. I would appreciate any help you can
give me.

Thanks in advance. Lisa
