In Canada:
Wendy's produces a list of ingredients but the restaurants are always
out of stock. In January 94 the Toronto head office confirmed that
their cheese sauce had starch in it ( a friendly store manager also
let me read the food service box in the back room). Sooo.. I order the
99 cent value baked potato (plain) with a side order of shredded cheddar
cheese and a side order of broccoli. Each side order usually costs 25
or 30 cents (although it varies depending on the store and the clerk).
This works out much cheaper than the $2+ for the loaded potatoes.
The shredded cheese was ok according to the label on the box.
I try to order this in person because the drive-through conversations
often get confusing...you want 4 what?
