Welcome to the list, Debra...

To tell you the truth, I'd recommend spending the extra money and getting
a kitchen-aid stand-up mixer; they're well worth it (plus you can buy
attatchments to make pasta or grind flour). I don't know if there are
any adequately strong handheld mixers out there; I've never come across
one. I have two mixers; one is a kitchen-aid and the other is one of those
things that can either be mounted on a stand or used as a handheld, and
though it's pretty big (weighs about five pounds) it's useless for
anything thicker than cake batter.

Tylenol assures me that their products are all gluten free; so does
Bayer. Nuprin appears to be safe. I think that covers the three major
over-the-counter analgesics; I haven't tried to find out whether anaprox
is gluten-free yet.

If you were in California I'd recommend Trader Joe's; their mayonnaise is
made with cider vinegar. But I don't know what's available back east.
Anyone?
