Postscript to reply to Don Kasarda regarding celiac symptoms:  Liz has always
had white vinegar and vanilla with no problems. Now we use Nielsen-Massey
vanilla, which is actually made with corn alcohol, but other vanilla's do not
bother her.  Jane Davis
