That's wonderful, Harry.
I am glad whisper mode works for folks who hear well.
Now, I am wondering about blind hearing aid users.
I have a profound hearing loss, wear 2 Phonak hearing aids.
I would probably have difficulty with, Whisper Mode.
So, just curious.
How does Alexa whisper to a blind hearing aid user?
I would likely use my Phonak Compilot 2 for privacy.
Does Alexa have such an option?

Subject: [VICUG-L] A lady has a whisper mode, and oh is it great!!!!
Hi all,
Well folks, I was doing some money problems, and I was using A lady, and
talking the money amounts, and she was calculating them for me, but some
people in my hallway were nosy, and listening in, even with my door
closed, because these doorways are nothing for sound to pass through!!
And I don't know about you all, but your money is your business, not
anyone elses business.
So, I remember someone telling me about her and whisper mode.
So, I did a google search for
how to turn on whisper mode in Alexa
Here's how you do it, and you don't have to have her turn off whisper
mode, because when you talk to her in a normal voice, she will talk to
you normally, I just tried it.
Just say, Alexa, turn on whisper mode.
And she does it, and I leave it on, and don't have to turn whisper mode
off, because I can still talk in my normal voice because she will talk
to me normally as well!
So now, folks, if you want to do money problems, or talk to her about
anything you don't want anyone to hear, in a nearby room, or a hallway,
like happened to me, just use whisper mode, and leave it on!
And now, I don't need to buy that talking calculator I thought I would
have to buy!
Harry, who now has his privacy back
