Harry,

I've never heard of an issue of security software slowing down a phone. What anyone could do is ask their phone provider about phone options and decide whether they want to get the phone from their carrier or directly from the manufacturer. I have purchased all of my iPhones from a carrier and haven't had any issues with speed. There may be other factors why your friend's phones were slow. I have heard good things about the new Samsung phones including that they have a newer version of TalkBack as well as their own screenreader. I'll be interested in hearing product reviews and demonstrations on podcasts.

Hi all,

My computer guy, Rick, got a Samsung s20 ultra, and it was so slow, loading web pages, playing videos, doing anything on the web!

So, he had to replace it, with another phone of the same, and, same problem!

Then, he had to replace it, with a 3rd phone!

Finally, on his screen, he saw a vpn security software suite, pop up.

His carrier, purposefully, put a vpn and security system, on each phone, so he had to replace 3 phones, for nothing!!!

He disabled, the security system, and vpn on the latest s20 ultra, and folks, this phone is flying!!!!

Web pages load, instantly, in 2 seconds!!!!

His carrier thinks every phone needs to have this software, and he said, "from now on, every phone I get, I will disable the vpn, and, the security suite, because now my phone is just as fast as a computer, with
8 cores on it!"

I am so happy for him!!!
