Ana,
Most newer trackpads will work with Narrator. The reliability will
depend on the hardware and the drivers used by the hardware
manufacturer. I realize this is not the best answer. But, if your
trackpad isn't working as well as you'd expect, it may be the hardware
that's at fault and not Narrator. See if you can get reliable results
from NVDA. I've found that laptops and devices under $500 have
reliability issues most times.
