My wife called the USA Tylenol number this week (we get this list
on digest, so we're always a day behind) and got this
clarification regarding Tylenol products:
Tylenol does not use any gluten in any of their products, however
Tylenol (McNeil Corp.) has been unable to get _all_ of their
suppliers to certify that _all_ of their products are gluten
free. Accordingly, Tylenol no longer certifies that their product
is gluten free.
In my estimation, any contamination would be slight, so I
continue to dose my 22 month old son with Tylenol as he's
teething and otherwise getting the aches and fevers which come
with pediatric ills. Make your own assessment of risk!
My wife commented that the telephone representatives were quite
helpful and forthcoming
