We have a 4-slice for the three non-celiacs who are big bread eaters, and
a 2-slice for the 2 celiacs.  I am not a reactor to non-gluten foods, but
my young son is and I don't want crumbs from one side of the 4-slice
getting into his side, thus the two toasters.  Also a toaster oven is too
timely for us when making toast for the whole family.  By the way the
toasters are on separate counters on opposite sides of the kitchen.
Cody's condiments are in a cupboard above our toaster while the rest of
the families are above the other toaster.
