One thing to make sure of though, while you are being cautious about
drinking milk (lactose)  is that you get enough vitamin D - either by
spending time outside or by taking vitamins, etc.  It is the lactose that
helps you absorb calcium, but vit D can do a similar thing through
different avenues.
