Birthday Blessings, Rhonda! Any so-called diet is the same, and folks can
repackage it all they want and sell it as a new fad or whatever but the
bottom line is still the same. Burn off more calories than you eat.
Period. So since the "C" word only gives you calories and not much
nutrition (I hear people fainting in the aisles from me of all people saying
this) it's probably best to avoid the stuff and anything that doesn't give
you good nutrition for the amount of calories it provides.
And, like it or not, we've got to exercise. I've been walking around the
neighborhood lately (the weather has been glorious here). And as great as
it is, there's still part of me that would rather not do it. But we've got
to have discipline to go ahead anyway, just like the discipline to read the
Bible and pray and all the other things that are so necessary to Life.
Anyway, enough preaching. Bless you and yours, Rhonda. Hope you have a
wonderful birthday and a year of blessings!
Paul
