For purposes of international travel insurance, an “existing medical condition” includes this definition:
• An illness or injury that you, a traveling companion or family member were seeking or receiving treatment for or had symptoms of on the day you purchased your plan, or at any time in the 120 days before you purchased it.
So, if I had an accidental gluten exposure with attendant symptoms (acute, but not requiring medical attention) within the 120 days, have I got an “existing medical condition” I must declare and pay for, so it does not void any other coverage?
Or am I only foregoing the possibility of making a claim due to a celiac issue if I don’t declare it?
