Many years ago, there was a blind guy who showed up on talk shows here in Denver. He took calls about the telephone company and new technology developments related to the phone system. This was long before cell phones, too. He also just took calls to visit about anything with people. One night, a caller asked him how old he was. He immediately said, “I am five years old.” The caller asked him why he was just five and Joy Bubbles, he legally had his name changed to Joy Bubbles, he replied that he decided he had the most fun at age 5 so he is forever five. When asked about his new name, he simply said, a bubble bath was the funnest thing he ever did as a child so he changed his name to what he loved. I was thinking this week about Jesus naming all the stars of the universe and knowing the exact number. They say the human eye can see about 1 billion stars at night but try and imagine a limitless number of stars that all have individual names. Only God can do that. I am wondering what are new names in Heaven are going to be. I know, it says a new name written in the Lamb’s book of life but I often wonder if we do get new names in Heaven.

Phil.
