Hello, everyone.
I have just noticed an interesting issue with my TS590 internal watt meter.
As background, I have the PF A button (the one on the top left-hand corner
of the rig) set to give an S meter reading when receiveing, and an output
power reading when transmitting. I think the menu setting is 201.
It seems that the internal watt meter is set to read in 25 watt increments.
In other words, when I use the function knob to adjust my output power level
down from 100 watts, I have to go down to 75 watts, until I see any change
in the output power reading. The same goes for when I decrease my output
power from 75 to 50 watts. I have to move my output power down to 50 watts,
until the output reading with the PFA key changes. When it changes, it
changes from 75 to 50 watts.
Is there a way to adjust the output power readings from the PFA key, so that
they will be in 5-watt increments in order to correspond with the readings
when adjusting the output power via the function knob on the rig?
If I'm not stating my question clearly, please let me know, and I'll try
again.
