Sandy is improving slowly.  She had her first visit from the physical therapist today but it was mostly paper work.  He went over a few exercises 	with her today, which she had already learned in the hospital PT department but he will come back for a total of 3 times this week and then 2 days a week.  She awakened in deep pain this morning because she slept through the night so took no pain medication during the night.  Bad mistake.  I am setting my watch alarm tonight to start getting up for the pain medication to be taken on time so that doesn’t happen again.  She is getting around upstairs a little more now without help but we are still a long ways from calling it back to normal.
