I have gluten intolerance which is made worse by hypoglycemia (when I
eat too much fruit or carbohydrate items) and food allergies (tomatoes
and eggs mostly). But one thing I don't have is constipation. I
attribute this to the amount of lettuce I eat everyday. At least
two salads a day. [...]35_1Aug199515:37:

Is she allergic to soy milk? If no, you can use one of the mix-it-from-a-can
varieties (they have more calcium than pre-mixed kinds, and a good amount of
fat) and use more than the regular amount of powder to make milk.
Then she'd get more protein and calcium. Check the container label for those
nutritional details. [...]46_1Aug199516:13:

Forgive me if I missed postings about this already. Does anyone know if
there is a difference between malt and malt flavoring. Somewhere in the
past I had read that malt flavoring was not made from malt..but was
artificial and gluten free. Please tell me if this info is in error. Thank
you. I'm sorry if this request is redundant...but I have learned so much
from this group already and I would like a few thoughts on this.39_1Aug199515:15:

After reading Mary's post about raisins, I decided to check out my son's two
favorite brands. I was told that both are GF in the packaged versions:
1. Made In Nature Organic Raisins, San Rafeal CA (415) 499-3309, who
put me in touch with their packing company Enock Packing (209) 888-2151
(Dennis). Shipments within the US are totally GF, they said, but shipments
to Japan sometimes are dusted with oil as they prefer the raisins to flow
more freely. [...]35_1Aug199512:31:

It is great to be able to contribute to a discussion of such significance.
Like John Wisemen, I have oft succumbed to the pleasures of drinking
Guinness in Ireland. I know that it is exported all over the world but
unless you have tried it in the country of its origin you will not
appreciate what a drink it is. [...]43_2Aug199500:19:
