Looks like Universal Radio has them on sale right now for $285 or something,
including a case. I wish I could get this in Australia!

I got a THF6A from AES in Las Vegas no problems. First time I had dealt
with them. Jim WA6EKS

Subject: In need of a new HT?

I'm in the market for a new ht to replace the KG-UVD1P that we can't seem
to= be able to replace the keypad for. Preferably one that's not a Chinese
one.=
:) I'm looking for a kenwood thf6a, or something equally accessible.
Anyone= have any ideas? Thanks! Our local ham store doesn't have the 6a's
in stock a= nymore, it would seem, so, if I were to get that one, I'd have
to get it onl= ine I think. Again, if not that one, what's another one
y'all would recommen= d.
