Talc in Meds????
In order to get my husband and I off of PPI's, our doctor suggested Pepcid AC or generic. I phoned the main number on the generic box from ShopRite, which is made by Merck, regarding gluten-free. They were very helpful, and I was told It is. It's also half the price of Pepcid AC.
But, when I hung up, I saw that talc is an ingredient.
There was a lawsuit recently saying body powders containing talc caused cancer. Why would we ingest it?
And hubby is on prescription strength...80mg/day. OTC, Max is 40.
Any thoughts?
