does anyone have information regarding the need for vitamin k2 for
diagnosed celiacs?
I have read many articles that seem to indicate it is necessary due to
malabsorption of nutrition in celiac disease & to help with osteoporosis
issues.
I also saw one article saying it many interfere with blood thinner drugs,
etc., may be dangerous etc.
I am a diagnosed celiac since 2003 with malabsorption issues and also have
osteoporosis. I'm not on blood thinner type medications.
I do not have access to a gastroenterologist with much knowledge of celiac
& will not give me any nutritional information. I did try to become a
patient at the celiac clinic at MAYO in Minn., however they declined to see
me... soooo... I mostly get my information on the web and get much info
from this list thankfully. Will summarize responses.
