Don,
Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. I've been playing in the
NYQP for the past few years since they raised it back from the dead.
It is becoming a very popular contest.
I don't know anything about QRZ, LoTW or any of that stuff, so I will
leave it to others.
You should use the N3FJP NYQP program for this event, instead of the
general contact logger.
I don't use that software, so others will have to help with particulars
on it.
After the contest, you will submit your log to the contest sponsers by
e-mail. They want the file in cabrillo format, which you will find as
an option somewhere in the N3FJP software.
If you decide not to submit your log, other stations can still get
points for working you. It won't hurt anybody if you don't submit.
Last of all, check the web page for the contest, it may answer some of
the questions you have:
nyqp.org
73 and hope to work you this Saturday, Steve KW3A
