one slice is as much as I like to deal with at one time anyway lol.

Colin, yes, JJRadio should work with the 6500. It will only use 2 slices

don't mean to highjack this thread, but will the JJ software work with the
flex 6500? Our club has one and I'd like to give it a shot if it works. I
know the 6300 is one of the radios that the software works with, but I don't
know about the 6500.
If so i'll give it a shot next week when I'm at our club station.

I don't have the latest version, but when I loaded the software, and
selected the radio and comport settings, it took off like a bird, and
everything worked as advertized.
Everything except the cw transmit.
Maybe I missed something, of a menu setting in the 590 needs adjustment?
Its an amazingly full featured program.
Jim put a lot of thought and creativity in to it.
