Revisiting An EASI Webinar: The Best From Yesterday
Jared Smith presents a series of 2 Webinars on WebAIM's accessibility
checker. It stresses functional rather than technical accessibility
simplifying Web accessability with a focus on the user's experience
rather than bombarding you with complex, technical concepts. The checker
helps the user learn about and understand accessibility and provides
step-by-step changes to make the Web more user-friendly to people with
various disabilities.
EASI is selecting previous Webinars from its archives and rotating them
on the EASI home page. Many Webinars are provided free to the public.
There are also series of 2-4 Webinars that are more technical with
hands-on training which are fee-based. There is an annual Webinar
membership that, for one fee, provides free access to these special
resources. A year's membership provides between 20-30 hours of content
for much less than attending a face-to-face conference.
The current 2-part Webinar available at http://easi.cc is an example of
the fee-based series to help you see their value.
