Don:
As far as I know, the TMV71A does not work with the VS3 voice chip--only the
VGS1.
Is the VGS1 chip the voice chip you have with the rig?
Just trying to clarify things, for anyone who might be interested.

Have for sale a Kenwood TMV71A dual band transceiver in mint to excellent
cosmetic and working condio0n with microphone, power cable, and the voice
board think the VS3 that hasn't ever even installed and is still in the box
received it in.
So someone would have to have the speech board or voice synthesizer
installed.
Asking $300 for both which includes all shipping and handling.
Also have the original box that the radio came in with all documentation.
If interested contact me either on or off list.
Payments accepted are PayPal, money orders and or cashier's checks.
Thanks.
