Subject: Prayer Request and Update on Pat

>

> Hi everyone. Here is an update on Pat Ferguson. She did have the procedure done to drain the abscess between the vagina and rectum but they didn't really put her under. They gave her verced but it didn't knock her out. That was probably about a week ago or so. She is still in a lot of pain. Yesterday morning Vernon took her to the hospital about 3:00 a.m. as she was in severe pain. They did a CT scan without the contrast dye as she is allergic to it. They found she has another urinary tract infection. They looked for the abscess that was drained which wasn't much but they didn't really find it. Pat and Vernon knew that was the case. The nurse told pat that this whole thing is probably the result of the radiation treatment she had some time back for her cancer which we all remember. I told her that I had always felt that is the situation. Anyway, they want to put Pat under an oxygen tent for about two hours a day for a few days. She doesn't know when that is going to happen so please pray for her. Thanks.
