I depends on the radio.
The proper adjustement is where you hear the signal best and the
interference worst.
Its between your radio, the interfering atations, your ears and your brain.
Good question, but the right way is the one that works for you.

Subject: naive question?

Hello all:

What is the proper method of adjusting twin passband tuning(two concentric
knobs) to isolate a desired signal on a receiverwith this function, and does
it work for all modes?

Thank you,

David S. Pearson-wa4dsp
