You might also ask him the reasoning behind his desire for you not to have
an I-Phone. I would never have one myself. Because I don't want to be
connected to the internet as I travel. I am concerned about the
government's invasion of my personal privacy. Which is why I haven't a
camera on my computer, have all sorts of fire walls, and have a request for
cookies on my computer. That I know exactly what is being transferred
between me and the outside world. I am not on any social internet site for
the same reason. I have the GPS ability turned off on my personal smart
phone. With the exception of 911 access. After all, if the government can
spy on the pri minister of Germany's cellular phone communications. What is
there to prevent it from spying on me? Who knows what information these
cameras can be picking up without our knowledge if they are connected to the
internet by this smart phone technology. But, you might also ask him if
there can't be a way to work out the possibility of having an I-Phone
purchased for you. All these fancy applications for the blind have assisted
so many to make possible for them to lead more fulfilled lives. I am sure,
once he realizes this, he will agree with you it is a worthwhile thing for
you to purchase.
